About PB, the artist

PB, a talented artist born and raised in the Midlands of the United Kingdom, was painfully shy and struggled with depression and mental health issues.  However, it was not until he experienced a devastating mental health breakdown fueled by addiction that he truly found solace in art.

This turbulent period had a significant influence on PB's creative expressions, particularly in his 'lost world' series which encourages viewers to step away from the pressures of modern life and technology, and instead appreciate the beauty of the present moment. His work often evokes a sense of nostalgia for the past while also highlighting its ignored decay.

 

PB's artistic style cannot be categorized as either expressive or realistic. Instead, he uses a vibrant palette to create visually stunning pieces that are filled with intricate details waiting to be discovered.  His subjects exude an interesting and charming appeal that makes them suitable for modern interior decor.

It was after creating an art gift of a motorcycle for a friend that PB's talent caught the attention of other motor enthusiasts like vintage car collectors and he received an overwhelming response from those who wanted similar commissions of their own vehicles. This led him to establish 'My Wheels in Art', a platform where he could cater to a wider audience and fulfill their commission requests. Through this venture, PB continues to share his artistic talent and passion for vintage cars and motorcycles with others.

 

Today, he continues to create stunning pieces inspired by mental health and other aspects of modern culture while also encouraging an appreciation of the simple yet beautiful moments around us through his artwork.
